Mycos emerged from my realization of the underdeveloped state of the Mushroom supplement industry. Fueled by the transformative technologies I honed during my PhD, I saw an opportunity to create high efficacy products that could significantly enhance human lives. This passion led me to the Rural Founders in Tech Pitch Competition, an event that proved to be not only exhilarating but profoundly enriching. Meeting fellow rural founders in such a warm and supportive environment was a delightful experience, fostering connections that might not have been possible otherwise. Winning the first place in the competition was not just an accolade; it was a honour as the competition was fierce. Looking ahead, Mycos is now poised for an exciting chapter as we head to San Francisco to attend Draper University. This step signifies our commitment to learning and growing, intending to expand Mycos into major global markets. Reflecting on the pitch, I believe it was my unwavering passion and belief in Mycos' products that resonated, helping others grasp the impactful potential of our Shrooms to transform lives. Pitch competitions like this, I firmly believe, are indispensable. They serve as invaluable platforms, guiding young and new founders, honing skills, and providing crucial preparation before venturing into the realm of dilutive investing.
